On March 1, 2005, At 11:25 p.m., Blake Howard Wayland ended his battle against Leukemia. He went in peace, in his sleep, surrounded by many of his loved ones, knowing he was loved by all, knowing he had touched so many lives, many of those people he had never met, but took him in as one of their own.
Blake's entire family would like to thank everyone that has given their support throughout this entire fight. Blake has been one of the toughest, bravest kids this world has ever known. Blake should be, and has been an inspiration to so many people, and he has touched so many lives. From family members and friends to total strangers, we now have a bond that has been formed by one courageous boy. Never in our lives could we have thought that something like this could have gripped us all, and his courage will keep us strong through the coming years of our lives.
Everyone can be at ease, knowing that there is another special angel watching over us now, no longer suffering, no longer needing our care, but there to care for us now.
Family will be receiving visitors Thursday Night from 6:00 - 8:00pm at
